Senior Consultant and Trainer
Joachim is senior consultant, trainer, and certified ASPICE® Provisional Assessor since 2018. He brings in 28 years of solid experience in the Automotive Industry where he has worked since 1990 (Audi AG, Opel Automobile GmbH). He has been in many different technical and leadership roles. With his structured thinking and common-sense approach to solution-finding, Joachim has handled several complex projects in NVH, Project Management, and Body Design. As chief engineer Vehicle Project Management he executed Meriva II from first scratches to SORP leading a complete X-functional engineering team. His in-depth knowledge in Vehicle Development and Manufacturing Processes was maximized during the last full-time role as Director Manufacturing Engineering for all European plants including EOL-responsibility with a team of 90 engineers. The execution of several organizational changes challenged his capabilities in dealing with ambiguity and his general people management skills. He has broadened his know-how by executing projects in Design-for-Six-Sigma, managing his teams in a cooperative style, and as assessor Automotive SPICE®. Several consultation projects significantly enlarged his process knowledge and consulting efficiency. This allows him a wide range of consulting topics. His passion for efficiency and high-quality results lead to high-value management solutions.
